WRCAA History

The WRCAA was founded in 1984, by former Redskinette and current WRCAA President, Terri Crane-Lamb. The following individuals were members of the original WRCAA committee and together helped establish the first NFL professional cheerleaders alumni association in the NFL.

Other NFL teams are following in the WRCAA's footsteps by forming their own alumni associations. The WRCAA's current membership totals over 500 women living throughout the United States. Since its inception, the WRCAA has actively participated in local and national charity events held in the metropolitan area and provides a means for former Washington Redskins Cheerleaders to maintain the friendships that they established while members of the elite Washington Redskins Cheerleaders Organization.

The WRCAA are currently working toward the first NFL Cheerleader Alumni Association convention.
